Today I got frustrated again. After the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) changed the fee structure effective October 26, 2006 it is hard to remember the new fees without looking them up.
The "Notice" by the U.S. government announced that the Department of Homeland
Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, will increase the
fees for immigration benefit applications and petitions to account for
cost increases due to inflation. This is by itself nothing bad. "The
average fee increase for inflation is approximately $10 per application
or petition." according to the website of the USCIS. The macic word is "average". It would have been nice and easy just to say: "all fees will increase for 10$" as it would have been so easy. But the word "average" makes things complicaed.
Here is the link to the new fee structure, as opened today again once more:

Enjoy the reading and remember: if you do not include the correct fee, the application will be rejected.
Take care and greetings from Atlanta
